Salary: $18.50 – $20.25 / hour
Requirements:
- The Community Service Officer performs assigned duties in the areas of parking enforcement, traffic control, and community relations.
- The individual in the role will be required to apply reasoning ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
- The skills and knowledge required would generally be acquired with a high school education, with college coursework in criminal justice or law enforcement.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
- Requires the ability to enforce instructions with firmness and effectiveness, be calm in stressful emergency situations, well organized, accurate, attentive to detail, and effectively prioritize.
- Considerable skill in the operation of a computer, including related software applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet is preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operators license.
