Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism
- Conduct routine security checks and inspections of buildings, entrances, and perimeters
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary
- Screen visitors, verify credentials, and control access to secured areas
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations on-site
- Provide a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and ensure a safe environment
Requirements:
- Valid Georgia Security Guard license or ability to obtain one
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred
- Strong observational and situational awareness skills
- Excellent communication and conflict de-escalation abilities
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor at all times
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
